REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to
the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
Introduction
At BENDANA, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users/customers and state that we are responsible for customer data security. We will be clear and transparent about the information we collect and what we will do with it.
This notice explains which of our users’/customers’ personal data are collected and processed under their relationship with us as customers and as users of our website.

We may collect personal data from users when they request: information, catalogues, price lists or samples via our website and/or when purchasing our products. We may also collect personal data when users contact us directly.

We may use personal data for the following purposes:
Customer service: we use personal data to manage our relationship with our customers, to improve our products and to improve the customer experience with us;
To provide tailored services: we use personal data to provide information that we believe is of interest to the user and to customise the products we offer to the user;
Marketing: we will contact the user with information regarding promotions and BENDANA products via e-mail. However, users are not required to accept these communications.
Every e-mail we send to our customers includes a link allowing them to opt out of receiving our direct marketing messages.
Only persons 16 years of age and older are permitted to consent to the processing of their personal data.
We will not keep personal data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were processed. To determine the appropriate retention period, we take into account the quantity, type and sensitivity of personal data, the purposes for which we process them, and whether we can achieve these purposes by using other means.
We will delete or destroy users’ personal data when we no longer need them.

We apply security procedures when we store and disclose personal data to protect against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
We may disclose users’ personal data to trusted third parties for the purposes stated in this Privacy Notice. We ask all third parties to take appropriate technical and operational security measures to protect personal data that are in line with Italian and EU data protection legislation
